As a loyal participant in past Design Awareness Trade Shows we are inviting
you to display at the 2004 Design Awareness Trade Show and Event. This year’s
event date is Friday, March 26, 2004. Registration deadline for vendors is February
6, 2004. Enclosed you will find the registration form, also available online
at www.designawareness.org. Please be sure to take a look at our expanded website.
Registration documents, vendor listings, and general information about the event,
as we have it, will be posted there.
The focus of Design Awareness is to celebrate, encourage, and honor excellent
design in the Intermountain Region of Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana.
The continuation of this event over the past nine years is due to countless
volunteer hours, vendor participation, and sponsor donations. We are proud to
announce Utah Style and Design as our exclusive magazine sponsor and we also
are excited about the inclusion of more awards this year. Thank you for nine
years of support, growth, and success of the Design Awareness Event!

Trade Show Details:
- Event Date: March 26, 2004
- Vendor Registration Deadline: February 6, 2004
- Trade Show Location: Marriott City Center, at the Gallivan Center, 220 South
State Street, SLC, UT 84111
- Venue: Each vendor will be assigned a hotel guest room as their display
area. The room will be available for check-in after 4 PM on March 25, 2004,
with assigned times for those requiring the loading dock. (Your display fee
includes 2 nights lodging.)
- Trade Show Hours: March 26, 2004, 9:00 AM– 4:00 PM
- Vendors to focus on NEW PRODUCTS (You may want two literature packets:
one for students and one for professionals.)
- Attendees: Vendors are encouraged to invite clients to the trade
show.
Other Activities:
- Social Hour and “Art by Architects and Designers” Show and Sale:
4:30 – 6:00 PM, Cash Bar
- Featured Speaker Mitchell Mauk, Mauk Design: 6:00-6:45 PM
- Design Awareness Awards Presentation: 6:45-7:15 PM
- Design Awareness Awards Banquet and “Fashion Rocks” Interior
design textiles on the runway! 7:15 PM
Costs:
- Hotel Room $395.00
(includes March 25th & 26th accommodations and display fee)
- Individual Banquet Tickets: $ 60.00
- Reserved Banquet Table for 10: $750.00
Sponsor Donations Levels: Your firm will be listed as a Design Awareness Sponsor.
Each donation of $500 or more includes two tickets to the Awards Banquet. We
have sponsorships available for Thursday, Professional Development Day and for
Friday. As a sponsor, special recognition to you and your company will be given
during the Awards Presentation and Program, on printed event programs and on
signage during our two-day event.

Donor Contributions: For those who would like to support the event but are
unable to attend, contributions are appreciated. All donations are
