Dian's enthusiasm
for Design Awareness is evident in her willingness to present a repeat performance
of her holistic approach to brand development! Dian is an active proponent for
integrating effective brand development principals in all aspects of work at Gensler.
She also brings a deep and diverse expertise with client projects from both consumer
and business-to-business markets.
In her 12 years at Gensler San Francisco, Dian Duvall has grown the environmental
graphics design group into Studio 585. For Design Awareness Dian presents her
holistic brand development and design philosophy. Studio 585 develops integrated
solutions for clients touching every detail and aspect of a brand communication,
experience, or "space". Allsteel, The Carneros Inn, McDonald's, Nordstrom, USAA,
Toyota, and Wells Fargo are just a few of the clients Dian has championed with
Gensler. She oversees business development, collaborative work and team integration
across all Studio 585s.
Dian, Gensler, and Studio 585 have been honored by The Society of Environmental
Graphic Designers, Print Magazine, Interiors Magazine, the PIA Graphics Arts Awards
Competition, Visual Merchandising + Store Design, Architecture, and Fast Company,
