Thursday, March 24, 2005. The Salt Lake Design Awareness Foundation and Utah Style and Design will sponsor Design Awareness 2005: A 10th Anniversary Celebration and “Chair-ity” Event at The Grand America Hotel. See award-winning design projects, rub elbows with the best and the brightest in the region’s design community of architecture, interior design, graphic, floral and fashion design. The event includes a social hour and silent auction of chairs and fine art, an awards dinner, and design industry keynote speaker, Michael McCoy. Topping off the evening’s celebration will be “Dangerous Liaisons,” a fashion show inspired by the scandalous 1780’s France, and featuring interior design textiles as couture clothing!

Funds raised at the event are used by The Salt Lake Design Awareness Foundation, a 501 (c3) non- profit organization to promote design excellence in the Intermountain Region. In ten years Design Awareness has awarded over $200,000 in scholarships, prizes, internships, and cultural trips to those in the design industry, both professional designers and students of design.

Tickets are $75.00 per person, Tables of 10 at $850.00. Student tickets $50.00.
